Shuttles to and from certain hotels to the wedding venue will be provided, as noted below. Additionally, because July is high season on the Cape, please note that most hotels require a two-night minimum stay. We really want our friends and family to get to know Cape Cod and love it the way we do! If you know a group of you will be traveling, we suggest renting a house for a group of you through AirBNB or VRBO.
We recommend booking in the following towns:
Harwich/Harwich Port
Dennis
Dennis Port
Brewster
Chatham
Yarmouth Port/Yarmouth/South Yarmouth/West Yarmouth
Orleans
The most common way to travel to Cape Cod is flying into Boston's Logan International Airport. Harwich Port is located 84 miles southeast of Boston on beautiful Cape Cod. There are many options for how to get down to the Cape, from driving to flying to taking the ferry.
Flying
Boston Logan Airport (BOS)
86 miles (1 hour 35 min) from Harwich Port, MA
Providence (T. F. Green ) Airport (PVD)
96 miles (1 hour 35 min) from Harwich Port, MA
Flying Direct
You can now fly directly to the Barnstable Municipal Airport (HYA) on JetBlue or Cape Air! The Barnstable airport is a 15 minute cab or Uber ride from Harwich Port.
There is a daily Jetblue flight out of JFK which is a great option for convenience whether you live in NY or have the ability to connect through JFK. For those coming from DC, Jetblue also provides a flight to Hyannis that connects in Boston.
You can also fly hourly on Cape Air from Boston's Logan International Airport - these small planes will have you beachside in no time!
Getting to Cape Cod
Renting a car: Renting a vehicle will give you the most freedom to explore all that Cape Cod has to offer. Harwich Port is 90 minutes from Boston.
Bus/Train: There are buses and trains departing from Boston Logan Airport (bus only) and Boston's South Station frequently (bus and train). Both options take you into Hyannis, only a short cab or Uber drive to Harwich. We recommend the Peter Pan Bus or the Plymouth and Brockton Bus over the CapeFlyer train as the train does not guarantee seats. Visit Peter Pan Bus, Plymouth and Brockton Bus, or Cape Flyer to book.
Ferry: For those looking for a little adventure, try out the Provincetown Fast Ferry. Leaving daily from Boston's Long Wharf , the 90 minute ferry will have you cruising to Cape Cod with a cocktail in hand. You will still need to travel about 45 minutes to Harwich via cab or Uber - but Provincetown is a great place to explore and spend a day! Visit Boston Harbor Cruise to book.
